The best thing to start modeling is to get a good portfolio done by a professional fashion photographer and then circulate it to modeling agencies or coordinator. If your fashion photgrapher is pro than he himself will guide you who all to approach. I don't know about agencies in Bangalore. But you might try posting an advertisement on Craigslist.org, if it's available in your area. Offer your services for free at first, to gain experience. Ask for a CD of the photos taken, instead of being paid. (That arrangement is called TFP - Test For Print.) You should also join online modeling/fashion groups (Yahoo has several of them). Hope you'll find some of these ideas useful. I don't know if agencies accept models who don't have experience. But do a search online for modeling agencies in your area, and give them a call.

i have always wanted to do modeling. a little bit ago, my friend(who is a model) almost brought me to a fashion show where i could probly become a model, but we ahd to cancel. idk. u should look up some agencies up in the phone book, or look for modeling opportunities.
