Depends have they lived together for awhile?
If they have they more than likely they have everything in the house they need. Then I would give the card and money.
By the way a sympathy card is real funny but only if your friend will see the humor in it.

You should be happy for your friend instead of feeling the way that you are ... You need to support your friend in this and be happy for them. Go to the wedding and take them a nice gift and congratulations card and not a sympathy one. You are dooming their marriage from the start by thinking and feeling the way that you do about it. You need to be a real friend and be happy for them and supportive!
