1st off, it's an 883. 2nd thing is, unless its a new '06 left over, u will be paying at the very least msrp on the new bikes. if u want to deal on price, u'd have to go '06 or older.

Actually its an 883 Sportster and considering its the cheapest of the Harleys it therefore probably has the least profit margin for the dealer, which means there's not much room to play. If the dealer won't budge on the price you may be able to get a helmet or other gear thrown in on the deal, good luck.

The 883 is already priced as the lowest priced Harley to make it affordable for those who can't afford the more expensive Harleys. To get the best deal means waiting until the 2008 models enter the showroom in November or December. Dealers are usually selling less at this time and want to make room for the new inventory, this is when they will lower their prices. If you don't want to wait until then, check all your local Harley dealers, and ask about special sales promotions that are coming up, many times you can save some money by shopping around.

If you want a deal check on ebay because the newer sportsters being sold are still under warrenty and a hell of alot cheaper.I bought a 2002 Sportster 883 Hugger off ebay for $5500.00 & the Harley dealer had 1 exactly like it same year,3000 more miles and no chrome at all for $7500.00 shop around

I have never seen a new Harley sell under MSRP. Lots of dealers will not even drop the price to MSRP.

there's a couple handful of hd dealers in my area, and none of the dealer's would go below msrp, and this bike was an '06 883 low. i saw a couple of '07 bikes out, and even tryin to sweetin the deal with add-on goodies, they still wouldnt go below msrp.

face it bud, if u want an 883 under msrp, u have to go used. no dealer will sell an '07 under that. this isnt a metric dealer. get used to that.
