If you are using something like Microsoft Word, it will usually underscore hyperlinks automatically (or you can set it to do this under preferences.) Other word processor software work in a similar fashion.

If you are just trying to type it that way in a document, you can use ctrl+U while you are typing and it will underscore what you are typing; then when you have finished with what you want underlined, hit ctrl+U again to toggle it off. (or look on the menu bar for the U with a line under it -- it does the same thing).

What Do u mean!? Like adding an underscore to an emaail adress?! just press shift and - and u will get an underscore _ <--- Like this
