Hi Mary, I don't know where you are planning to fly from, but another international airline that arrives into Cordoba airport is GOL with flights from Brazil, this the website http://www.voegol.com.br/INT/ . They sell through their website and flights are far cheaper than any other airline.
Other airlines that you may already know are LAB, LAN and Aerolineas Argentinas. I don;t have information on any other airlines arriving to the city. You may want to contact the airport for further assistance, it is administrated by Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 http://www.aa2000.com.ar/index.php
The direct information of the airport is:
International Airport Ing. A. Ambrosio L.V. Taravella
Monseñor Pablo cabrera s/n.
Telephone: (54-351) 475-0242 or 475-0283.
*********************
PS: The following is a note to the last answer in panel just to prevent misunderstandings or to provide further information so the person who asks can make a personal opinion based on several sources...
- Aerolineas Argentinas & LAN are the only two airlines covering Patagonic routes (if we don't count with LADE that is the state company, lower rates but busiest flights everytime). Unfortunately, these two airlines are a "necessary evil" as they are almost the only ones.
- Yes, there is a huge problem with delays in Argentina so try not to book connecting flight with tight space of time between each other.
- LAN is one airline but with different names per country (LAN CHILE, LAN PERU, LAN ECUADOR, LAN ARGENTINA)... LAN CHILE & LAN PERU are the only ones part of One World Alliance (same as American Airlines) until March of mid 2007 (I don;t remember well).
Hope this helps!

The webpage is www.asatej.com
Their phone number is: 1-877-235-9226

Well if those were too expensive you could take the train or a bus from Buenos Aires. There is big bus station-Retiro and you can take a bus even all the way to Salta. I've done that I wouldn't do it again it was a 22 hour bus ride each way but it was a great experience. Anyways it would probably be about a 5 hour bus ride to Cordoba if you wanted to do that. THe tickets are usually pretty cheap too. I think my ticket all the way up to the top of Argentina was about 150 pesos-only about 50 U.S. dollars. Good luck though whatever you decide to do.

Buenos Aires is a fantastic town; it's an surprising town that looks somewhat like Europe, but with an edgy Latin American angle and if you intend to visit that town then have a look with hotelbye . El Puerto Madero is a place well visited. It served as the key dock of Buenos Aires through the late 19th century but know is converted into structures that might be applied as residences, restaurants, stores and other firms and to give that project a little bit of flair, all roads in the region were called after women. Strolling through the Puerto Madero is a superb way to pay a nice day just like visiting El Obelisco. El Obelisco was built-in 1936 to remember the 400th wedding of the town founding and now could be a must-see place from Buenos Aires.

I've had to get to Cordoba several times- I finally gave up trying to fly and now just fly into BA and take a bus. By the time you figure in the time you need to get to the airport, arriving early to check in, the inevitable delays, and then waiting for bags, etc. the bus can actually be faster. Also, it's less expensive, runs more frequently, and is much more comfortable (there are some very nice busses that run the route)

As someone also noted, you failed to say where you're flying from. But here's one word of advice:
Avoid Aerolineas Argentinas at all costs, even if it means shelling out a few more bucks for the flight.
I took AA twice in February and twice they were four hours late taking off for a three hour flight (to/from Ushuaia, AR). I missed my connections back to the States because of their inability to keep at least close to the schedule.
When I finally arrived home (States), one day late, I looked up AA's record on the web site. Terrible...constantly and consistently late, one of the worst records of all the airlines.
As to LAN, they supposedly have an alliance with American Airlines...don't you believe it. It may be so on paper, but in practice, American will not reciprocate with LAN when LAN passengers miss their flights. I watched 14 passengers who missed their flights with LAN get raked over by American Airlines who would not honor the alliance and rebook them after missing their flights to the States because of the same late Aerolineas flight that caused me to miss my Continental flight.
