I'd love to hear others' ideas. But don't just say "they're dumb," because that's useless, give me some ideas of why you think these might be right or wrong please!!!
* Remus Lupin will die trying to save Tonks
* Snape will turn out to be good (of course)
* Draco Malfoy will for some reason turn out to do the right thing and have to face down his father
* Rubeus Hagrid will die
* Someone will have to enter Azkaban to find something, fight something, etc, or maybe just to destroy the Detraquers (sorry, I forget the English name ... creepy hooded guys)
* The final Horcrux will turn out to be inside Hogwarts
* Maybe Harry himself is the final Horcrux??? or a person is?
*Neville Longbottom will have a huge part to play (of course)
* Ginny and Harry will not, in fact, get together because they both want to actually finish their education first, or maybe because Harry goes somewhere to be a professional Quidditch player

1) Yeah I could see Remus dying for Tonks, but I wouldn't put money on it.
2) Yes I too believe that Snape is good and that he did what he did on that tower because of something pre-arranged with Dumbledore. I am one to believe that Dumbledore is dead (and JKR says that he is) but I will not be surprised if I am told that he is not. The way his body flew off the tower after being hit with the spell cast by Snape was not something that should have happened with the AK, we have to wonder what spell was really cast.
3) After Draco's crying to Mrytle in the HBP and his hesitation to kill Dumbledore a lot of people are thinking that redeption is in sight for Draco. It'd be nice if there was in some way I wouldn't like him to die at the hands of Voldemort or at the Ministry. But I don't really feel that he is good or that he will do the right thing. Being bad is a lot easier for him.
4) It would be sad if he did but he is likely to be sacrificed, if he goes, for his sake I hope it is to defend Harry in some way, he really does care for him and Hermione and Ron too.
5) Hmmm, something has to happen with Azkaban, doesn't it, you would think that Voldemort would have done something in HBP to get his faithful followers out, we're still yet to see the damage the Dementors have done in regards to Azkaban now that they can't be trusted to guard the place anymore.
6) It would be nice if the final Horcrux, or any were inside Hogwarts as that would bring Harry back there as I do truely love Hogwarts. However I doubt it considering what the Horcruxes that are left to destory are.
7) I used to think that Harry was the final Horcrux until I re-read HBP, although a murder has to be committed to create a Horcrux / to split ones soul, a ritual also has to be done with it. Voldemort did not have the strength (even if he wanted to) to make Harry a Horcrux. We know that the diary (1), the ring (2), the locket (3), and possibly the Hufflepuff cup (4) are Horcruxes, we know that he himself still has to have a piece of his soul within him (5). So that leaves (6) and (7), Dumbledore believes that Nagini is one and suspects that the Ravenclaw treasure is the other as Gryffindors treasure is the sword and not a Horcrux. I do not believe that the Horcrux could be a person as Dumbledore mentions how dangerous that is, even more so then using an animal.
8) I would love for Neville to play a huge part in the final battle, I would love for Harry to die weakening Voldemort and that Neville finishes him off.
9) I don't know whether Ginny and Harry will get back together but I don't see either of them putting their education first, especially not before the battle ahead. After the battle if both were to survive, I could possibly see Ginny returning to school but I doubt that Harry would. If he was to live and continue on with a normal life then I can see him either taking the path of Auror or as a Professional Quidditch player, but I don't think that it would be mentioned.

I like your predictions, they're really good. I've read every single Harry Potter book again last month to see if i might have missed something or if i might get any ideas.
Of course Neville will have an important part to play. He stood out among most of the other Hogwarts students from the beginning.
I don't think Harry will end up professionally playing quidditch. He's wanted to be an auror since his 4th year and i think he'll do that unless he gets killed fighting Voldemort at the very end.
Snape might turn out to be good but I doubt that Draco will. He's been against Harry since the beginning. Maybe Voldemort will train him so he can help fight Harry in the final duel.
I doubt that Harry is the final horcrux. Why would Voldemort conceal part of his life inside his worst enemy?
And Hagrid dying is probably likely. He'll probably die trying to save Harry. And so will Lupin and Tonks. or atleast they'll get badly injured.
Well, that's all i have to say about that. I cant wait for #7!!

I don't like the Lupin one, because I think that Lupin is in fact James Potter. I have a feeling there was some kind of switching spell performed. Lupin is just too attached to Harry.
Snape of course will be good. Because so much of book 6 was about nonverbal spell casting, I predict that Dumbledore and Snape had it all worked out in advance and that they did some sort of silent spell to counteract the killing spell.
I like the Draco one. That would be typical of Rowling.
Hagrid will die protecting Draco!!! (Draco=Dragon)
Someone else suggested that HARRY is a Horcrux
Of course Neville is the one meant for the prophecy.
I don't know about Ginny and Harry either. If their romance would be a big factor at the end, Rowling would have made her a bigger player earlier on. Her personality is not developed enough.

These are all very good predictions you've given...
I think that Harry and Malfoy and Harry and Snape will have to have some resolution to their respective relationships.
Fred and George and Weezleys' Wizarding Weezes will fiugre into the final battle.
We will find out what is behind the curtain that Siruis fell into in the 5th book and died.
Siruis' brother--Regulus Black-- will also show up..I think it's his initals in the necklace that Dumbledore and Harry retrieved from the cave in book 6--so he has the real Hoarcrux, or he's destroyed it.
And Detraquers in the US books are called Dementors. Finally http://www.dubeldoreisnotdead.com is a great website full of predictions, speculations and so on. Check it out...and have fun waiting for July!

I agree with most of your predictions. I never thought of the Lupin one...that's interesting...I'd like to think that Harry and Ginny will get together but you have a very good point there. And I don't like to think that Hagrid will die but, once again, good point. I can't wait for this book to come out so we truly find out everything!
BTW-The English name for the Detraquers are the Dementors.

I don't think Harry is horcrux because then he'd have to kill himself. That's just too depressing. I do think that someone close to him might be a horcrux though because then Harry would have to kill them.
One thing is for sure. I won't sleep till I finish reading that book. July can't come soon enough!

You must include the answer to this question: what is the importance of the invisibility cloak that James gave to Dumbledore? It must have some other fantastical power to it, which James gave to dumbledore b/c he wanted Harry to have it to ultimately defeat V, or something like that. JK Rowling said this detail was really important numerous times...

I love the Harry Potter books but I hope it goes out with a bang! Harry will die heroically. I think it would be interesting if they all died tragically and all their good they've tried to do was a waste and evil succeeds.
