Someone who dumped you before is flirting w/you again and it seems, the passion is still there, but the problem is your present lover, who nurtured and teach you to love and live after that heartache. You dont have the guts to tell all this to your current lover, you dont want to upset her/him.

I am in that situation now.. have been for 3 years. I chose the current because I can not hurt him, will not hurt him.. yet I remain unhappy...for his sake...

Keep with the new guy. The ex is only doing this because he sees you with the new one and can see now that he screwed up a good thing. If you go back with the ex, all those hurt feelings will come back to haunt you, then you'll be totally alone.

Well if he has already dumped me once and the one I have now was there for me. I would not go back due to learning what I have already lived once. Who is so naive to do it again.
