If you keep having these problems then I would buy another car. How many 2500$ bills do you intend to pay?

When replacing a head on a BMW the first thing that needs to be done is to have the head checked out or buy a new head. You should not reuse the overheated head unless your have had it checked out. Most heads warp, or have cracks in them, some cracks will not be visible until the head reaches a certain temperature. Then the head needs to be planned, made flat again so that it properly mates up with the engine block.
Once put back together the engine cooling system needs to be bleed.
BMW's are notorious for overheating problems, and often it is cheaper to replace the engine with a used engine than to continuously replace heads.
If this problem continues I would examine your driving habits and look for another car and not a BMW.

I've been a BMW technician for 20 years and I'm not sure what an "upper radiator engine spout" is, but have you checked your thermostat? How about the fan clutch? The radiator might be clogged. Does coolant flow through the overflow tube? Has the system been flushed and refilled with 50/50 mixture of anti-freeze to water? All of these things should be checked. Finally, did the engine overheat to the red? If so, you may have a cracked head or blown head gasket. I think I asked more questions than you did ;-) Sorry I'm just trying to point you in the right direction. Hope this helps, good luck!
