I've just got my comp back and I wanted to sign in to windows messenger, but it said: service not available or you are not connected to the internet. Of course, I was connected, so what's th matter? Why is it not available? What do I have to do??

it could be the msn server just try again later. if problem continues upgrade messenger software via download site.

hmm that is interesting that has never happened to me. I would say either make sure your windows messenger is up to date or try signing on later, there might be something wrong with their servers at that time; many users could be experiencing the same problem as you.

You wouldn't by chance be using a firewall , would you? I once had a firewall prevent me from using windows messenger, but I didn't get that error so I don't think that is the problem.

You need to uninstall it and download the newer version if you haven't got it already, if you have got it try reinstalling it, first try restarting ur pc x

That happened to me 2!!
It said you are not connected!! :O
If you have a modem you have to runn the CD it comes with.

Just go yo www.aim.com and download aim. It works much better.
