I am always obsessively cleaning my house. I don't allow or let cobwebs etc.... to build up. I believe this in it's self is a deterrent to spiders. Though occasionally we do get the odd few and you won't really be able to stop that. But if you do get one when you chuck it out make sure you release it away from your house so that it won't find it's way back in.

Spiders are put off by the smell of horse chestnuts. I placed a short row of fresh, unpeeled horse chestnuts along the bathroom window sill last autumn and haven't seen a spider in the bathroom since then. Alternatively, you can buy a horse chestnut spray (Betterware sells one) to spray around the outside door frames and window frames and this discourages spiders from entering the house.

terminex can spray but they are high i think . OMG i hate spiders they creep me out so bad, if i see one i scream and my husband thinks i am nuts. this is no lie last year we was working in the garage and this spider crawled out from the ceiling it was huge i bet it was ever bit with legs 4 inches across now that spider scared my husband . we finally killed but i was scared to go in the garage for a while..

you can deter them from your house, buy from betterwear a bottle of spider stop it cost £4.99, and if you spray it around your windows and outside doors they won,t come in,its the answer for us does work without killing them.if you don,t know of any doing betterwear, you can order on line, the address is,www.betterwear.co.uk.

Insect foggers. It comes in a can and produces a vapor to kill spiders and many other bugs. Read and follow the instructions. It is safe and effective!
