Right now I have Norton's suite, but have heard so much about Zone Alarm. I had checked the comparison tables on their sites, but I don't exactly trust things like that because businesses will probably exagurate for money

I prefer Zone Alarm. I've used it for a very long time and I have not had any problems with it. I am a help desk engineer and I provide tech support to up to 5,000.00 guests and most of the time they have problems connecting to the interenet is from the Norton. Not to say Norton is bad, however, if you are traveling a lot with your job and you stay at different hotels, you shouldn't have to call tech support all the time to tell you to disable your Norton until you get online. It really boils down to preference and use.

Zone Alarm sucks. I've had Norton for quite a while. It does effect a little on the boot-up speed of your computer but not that much.

Stick with Norton!

I had Zone Alarm thru my old ISP and hated it - had nothing but problems so I switched -- I now have a new ISP (AT&T) and they use Computer Associates which I like because it seems to work as a firewall, anti-spy -anti-virus and I don't really need to do anything special. I also had norton in the past and can't say anything bad about them.

because the people at zone alarm have more talented programmers and know what they are doing. Norton is the most worthless software ever. every computer I ever worked on that had norton on it had viruses.

i use lot of antivirus like norton, kaspersky, zonealarm,mcafee...etc
but i found out one common problem for norton & zonealarm, some times explorer shutdown for few seconds due to some errors ( im a 3d designer im using lot of ram) sothat time norotn on-access security also shutdown
kaspersky very good but lot of annoying scans make me sick
then i start using AVAST! its very nice its all free
but doing pretty good job
i recommended AVAST!
