Yes, I did. I worked at Taco Hell in high school and they were always calling me in at the last minute because other people didn't show up! The final time they did that, I went in, told them I'm quitting, and left.

I didn't really go in to begin with when I quit...I just woke up and saw how sunny and beautiful it was outside and called up my supervisor and told them I quit
But when I use to do this I was still a teenager and didn't really need money as I had no bills at the time so if I didn't feel like working cause I wanted to go out and have fun all day, I did!!!
Now life is much different, I have a family with little children to think of besides having the bills so I haven't quit from a job in a very very long time like that, in fact, I've been at my current job for 10yrs now and I'm only 28 so that's saying I've grown up alot now.

I had the thought a few times at my last job. But I couldn't do it. I'm single and support myself...has to be some money coming in to live. They ended up laying me off in October, so now they are paying the unemployment for me to go to school full time. It worked out well that I didn't up and walk out! But there were definitely days when I REALLY wanted to just pack up a box and leave!

i used to work as a temp in a plastics plant. the boss was king of the jerks. he knew i'd only be working there a month. everyday i'd come in, and they'd give me a different machine to run. i'd get 5 minutes "training" and spend the next 4 hours in a panic state. one day they put me on am chine where there were 20 steps to make the part ,and if ya didn't keep up, the part would cool and be ruined if ya didn't get to it on time. i rang the "help bell" and told that boss i needed better training. he started screaming because there was about $400 in ruined parts. he sent someone over and i got another whole 2 minutes of training from them. still couldn't keep up, so i walked out the door, leaving the machine running.

certain, I suggested. "seem i am going to that useless teach. you are able to both take me again when I get again or no longer. i do not care." He suggested "nicely then do not come again in any respect." I suggested "effective that'll provide me more advantageous time on excursion." Then all over again I in simple terms stopped displaying up. i replaced into in highschool and summer season after commencement on the time and that i did not fairly favor the jobs, reason they were low aspect jobs and that i ought to do something and get jobs on the drop of a hat. In my grownup/specialist life i'd under no circumstances even entertain the perception of no longer giving note.

Yes. I started a new job one morning. It was a family-run business in NYC in the Empire State Building--and suddenly, around 9:30 a.m., two of the brothers brought in their grandfather--he must've been about 100, and they were bringing him to his office and told me to make sure he didn't wander out of the main doors, out into the building. OK. Fine. I figured I could do that. Then, later, they ordered him lunch and told me I had to feed him! and I was, like, uh, no! And the woman who had been feeding him him until "supposed-sucker me" came along, got mad and started spooning food into his mouth, and scooping it off his chin into his mouth like people do for a baby. It was just making me sick. Well, this woman who was mad told me that she was "telling on me," and I just shrugged. Then, I went to lunch myself. I called from a pay phone in the lobby and said I wasn't coming back. I was a staff writer and not a health care aid. They got mad at me and hung up.

Yes, I knew I could do better and get more money. I like a job where there is competition and have had a few that there is nothing to it and they have real idiots working who think it is hard.

I did once but, they stopped me and convinced me to stay. Funny I can't even remember what it was over now. I think the manager pissed me off pretty good for some reason or other. That was at least fifteen years ago.
