You can always set it to private and only invite people you want. But even if it's not on private you have to except people to add as your friends. Then when you get a bunch of friends you can put it on private. If you're under 18 you should notify your parents of this. If your any age you should never meet anyone offline. Be careful. MySpace is safe if you take precautions. I hate when they say it's MySpace's fault about abuse. It's the parents fault.
