It's a long debated question, and it's a good one. These are 2 of the best technical wrestlers in all of wrestling history. Angle won a gold medal with a broken Freakin' neck, and Chris Benoit has been named the top underrated plus technical wrestler multiple times. In terms of wrestling power, Angle wins. Angle is great when it comes to submissions, and he packs a lot in his Angle slam and germans. Benoit is the king of suplexes. He does each german, each suplex, each belly to belly with ease, and he has a variety of submissions. Angle is much more versatile. However in a stipulation match, such as a table match, Benoit wins. Benoit's more of a risk taker than Angle. Remember that cage match between Angle and Benoit? (When Angle had hair) I believe Angle's senton miss off the top was a great display of risk, but night in, night out, Benoit goes for the devestating flying headbutt. Connected or not, it still makes for great risk. Overall, I'd say Angle.

Kurt Angle has already beaten Chris Benoit on several occasions and Benoit has beaten Angle a time or 2 also. I would love to see a submission match between these 2. It would be a gr8t one.

In a true wrestling match, not a booked one, I would give it to Angle all the way. I am not selling Benoit short, he is one of my faves and has been so even before his Four Horsemen days. Angle has a reputation for intensity, even in his booked matches. He takes this stuff VERY seriously. Benoit is a great performer and an incredible athlete, but he has been doing booked matches all his career, Angle has not. Just my opinion.
