My computer was recently completely reformatted and debugged after suffering a crash. A couple of things are a little messed up (like the fonts on web pages are huge even when the font view is set to smallest) but I can get used to that I guess. One big problem is that while I am typing, no matter what the program (internet, word, etc) , the cursor will occassionally skip back to a random part of my writing (ugh it just did it) and I have to erase it and go back to where I was. I write a lot of long papers for school and this is likely going to be a problem. Any insight/advice would be much appreciated: a best answer will go to a truly helpful response.

Muchas gracias!!

It sounds as though all the drivers have not been re-installed. Right click My Computer and then Properties. Now click device manager, do you see any yellow triangles? Those are the devices that still need drivers installing. You should have a disk that was supplied with the computer that contains these. Obviously you are on the net so you can also download from manufacturers websites.
