MADONNA..... her childhood was dark and unhappy. Her early years in New York was full of miserable low points, worst depressions and terrible feelings of loneliness. But now she rules the world.

Not only survived 27 years of prison for being an activist against apartheid, and THEN become president of South Africa, but managed to make the world a better place. And won the Nobel Peace Prize.
