it was shocking but funny, i dont think alot of that was real, i hope that is not how fraternity guys really think that was disgusting.

well, its funny because it shows how very little americans know of the outside world. if you told most adults today that theres a place out there where rape is condoned, you can keep people in cages, people have "the running of the jew", and gypsy tears are medicine, most of them would believe it.
also, anyone who bothered to google this guy would have knowns what was going on, the rodeo, the news, the driving/ humor/ manners teachers, the dinner party, etc.
the only ones i kinda felt bad for were the old couple at the bed and breakfast, and i've heard that the old man thought it was funny.
most popular films are over-quoted, but thats just how it goes.
i think that it was gross and tasteless, and brilliant. he found a way to put people into situations that have no good way out, if you dont show sympathy to the foreign guy you look like a jerk, if you get mad at him you look like a jerk, if you fall for the joke you look like an idiot, and if you go along with his "foreign ways" you look like a bigot, racist, sexist, moron, etc.
thats why its funny, he's showing us all that in this day and age where information and the media are all tied together with lightning speed, one random weirdo can make ANYONE look stupid.

I hated the movie, i dont see how people find this type of humor funny. Today in the film industry more and more of these cheap joke movies are comming out. Those based on sexual preference, to a naked guy chasing a skinny guy around with a dildo shapped like a fist.
The movie didnt appeal to me because:
1. the jokes wernt that funnny, i dont think i laughed one time during the movie
2. people who saw it keep repeating quotes to the movie "Very nice!" "my sister was like u can get this you cant get this, then one day he get this"
3. the fact that people keep saying that there is a political and real meaning behind the movies premise. Ya ok bud, what does chasin a fat guy naked around with a fist shaped dildo have to do with anything
I thought it sucked, other found it funny. But then again ive only seen it once. But i dont plan on watching it again

those frat guys tried to sue him so that the dvd wouldnt come out. i hope that everyone around the country recognizes them everywhere they go. they were kicked out of their frat, their college, and their jobs. rightfully so.

great movie. the only scene that wasnt real was the civil war antique store. they paid the guy for what they broke, they didnt want to actually break valuable things.

even though it seems strange at this time when there is all this terrorism in our world and sensitivity to certain races, this movie was hilarious.
