We have been going out since August of '05 we have a 9 month old together and he has always been great. The past couple weeks he has completely lost his sex drive and when I asked him what was wrong he said that he don't know and after a pause said that he was tired the next day he said he needed time to build his soldiers up (yea right). Last night he came home from work telling me how he jokes with a female employee which isn't exactly flirting but damn near close. It was only last month he purposed. Anyone have a situation like this? I'm confused and would appreciate someone's opinion. Thanks.

My suggestion would be to find out what is going on before you marry him. Flirting is normal and healthy, what is dependent upon is it it goes any further. And flirting certainly is not going to deplete his "soldiers". It may very well be stress from life, work, etc. However, you know him better than anyone, if things are changing you need to address the situation. Good luck and God bless****

I'm curious to know how old he is. I'm not a doctor but I was hit with the same problem in my mid to late 30's. The problem was a decline in my testoterone levels. My sex drive was slipping. Only a doctor can properly diagnose this. Some other factors to be considered would be are things pretty much "routine" in your life? Is it a day to day same ole same ole? Sometimes Men like to have variation. It doesn't neccessarily mean he wants another woman, just some spice in the everyday routine. Its up to you to figure out which spice would compliment the relationship and which ones would hurt it since you know your man best. The supposed flirting with another woman I think is harmless. Its the one he doesn't mention that's the concern. But I wouldn't worry about that right now. But don't be shy to tell him how you feel. Best wishes.

Well, don't marry him and hope that things get better. A lot of guys will start having second thought once they make that permanent commitment. He proposed, he got scared about the thought of spending his life with one person, so now he's possibly testing the waters with someone new. Give him back the ring and tell him you are not breaking up with him but the engagement is off until he can truthfully tell you what is going on.
P.S.- I'm not saying this is the case, but they say that a change in sex drive is one of the first signs of a man's cheating on you. And trust your instinct, I dated this guy for 8 years. There were times I knew in my heart he was cheating on me, but I didn't listen to my heart. I wish I had, it would have saved me a lot of heart-ache and self-doubt. Good Luck.

keep an eye on this one and keep you ears and eyes open, i don't think anything is going on right now but it maybe headed that way.. maybe the woman he was joking with he has an attraction for , and when he goes to bed with you he might be fantasizing about her and that's why he don't want to have sex with you.. find out about her if she is married or single or what. keep an eye on where he goes when you ain't with him, if he starts coming home late from work or leaving earlier than usual. keep an eye on the bank account see if he is spending more money than usual. but don't let him know you are doing any of this and don't tell anyone not even your best friend.. don't jump the gun unless he really gives you a reason too. you may want to try to sit down and just talk with him and see how his feeling are lately.. he maybe worried about marriage & fatherhood. work etc.

see how often he jerks off a day - sounds gross but its true. Unless he's still 18, if he's doing it 1x/day (and yes every guy does this - though maybe not that often) then he might not have as much of a sex drive when you see him at night...

And I dont' see why the guy has the pressure to always be in the mood- when a girl does this there never is anything wrong with them- its considered normal!

hey talk to him and let him know you care about him. and just let him think he obviously needs time to get his mind straight and figure out wat he wants in life. just don't get your hopes up too high. and just talk to him.
