I know many viewers stopped watching American idol bcoz so many great singers were let go n so many bad ones still remain. I know the public votes but I still think judges on show should have final say . It is rediculous that Sabrina n Sundance r not there now! My pick was Clay A. and Chris D. n look they
r proving me right in record sales. I think it is rediculous that kid is still there. Pathetic!

I agree they should turn more of it over to the judges. It is really ridiculous when you have sites like vote for the worst.com because it is really taking away from the people that are really putting their hearts and souls into this. That boy isn't serious about his music. It's a free ride for him.

Why should I vote at all if the judges have the final say? I agree the voting needs to be changed.
There was a website saying to make Sanjaya the winner and some people are doing that.
As for Simon's rudeness, that's part of the "gimmick" he uses. Some people just want to hear what he'll say. Those kids singing need to have a thick skin and do what's best for them. The good singers will get a contract from this.....even if Sanjaya would happen to win. I doubt it he wins.

I was shocked they kept Sanjaya and not Sundance, Sundance is totally a better singer. I do think the judges should be able to over rule the viewers votes in a case like that! That Sanjaya kids sucks and he looks like a girl...like we need a michael jackson lookin moron on American Idol! Ugh, he needs to GO! I wish they would let us call in to vote OFF annoying idol wannabes, that kid would be gone!

I think the collective judges' votes should be at least 50% of the final vote. Sometimes it seems the viewers are deliberately voting for someone that is not in judges' favor - namely Simon.

I totally disagree with you. I mean, come on, the show's called "American Idol" and obviously how on earth would they become an american idol if Americans didn't choose that person to win??? And come on, Simon Cowell is not even American!

I would like to see a compromise between fans voting and judges as the other person who answered mentioned. They are JUDGES for a reason ;)
