Not to sound snotty, but you guys seem to have jumped the gun on this question. After Gwen's original single and video of "Luxurious" w/ Slim Thug, she released another version w/ Ludacris. It doesn't just "sound" like "Glamorous", it is the 'exact' same beat as "Glamorous". Not only that, but Ludacris's vocals are copied and pasted onto Fergie's "version". Look it up and download it. It came out over a year ago. Take care.

I would not say its because of Ludacris because he only appears on Fergie's track. The rapper on Gwen's song is Slim Thug. These songs do not sound similar. I guess the similarity lies in the fact that we are used to hearing up beat songs from these artists. And these songs are both slow jams with a sort of Bonnie & Clyde appeal, in which the rappers present these slow downed style. Also, Polow Da Don produced Ludacris version, a production styling that was also offered to Gwen but her label rejected it.

because the instrumental track and Ludacris' rap were recorded as a "luxurious" remix but Gwen Stefani rejected it when it was presented to her, so Fergie wrote a similar song and they wiped out Gwen Stefani's vocals

Ludacris was not in Luxurious. I love both songs but Gwen is way better then Fergie.

they are kinda similar but not really.. and it wasnt ludacris lol. gwen is way more original.

Um Ludacris was not in Gwen Stefani's song hat as Slim Thug (DUH) Plus i like glamorous better
