Dose anyone no how to change in to the right cloths for the right wether in the sims 2 seasons?

First you have to go to the store and buy outerwear outfits for the various seasons. Then when you get home have your sim go to the dresser, click on plan outift, then click on outerwear. If it is winter pick the winter outfit you would like to have them change into, if it is Spring pick a raincoat, Fall you won't want something as warm as a winter coat so pick one of the sweate/scarf outfits or something like that. Now when your sim goes out in the cold or rain they will change into the the outerwear outfit you selected. When the season changes you will have to plan their outfit again otherwise they will keep changing into whichever outfit you planned last time.

the other answers were right but I wanted to add something...usually what i do is send one sim to a clothing store and buy all the clothes I am going to want for the enitre family for each age group. That way even when they change age I will be able to change their clothing if i dont feel like visiting any community lots. Only thing, if you move one of the sims (who didnt buy clothes) in the family to another house or to university you will have to re-buy clothes.

go to a shop and if you are in winter you can only buy winter cloths and same with summer fall and spring then you go home and click on the dresser and it will tell you plan outfit and outwear and then you have the options

The clothes have to be bought so that they are in the inventory. That way you can choose to change their appearance at the mirror.

send then to the shops and have them buy more clothes. then go home, buy them a wardrobe and have them plan outfits.
