Im 23 and I grew up watching the 80's cartoon and looking back on it now, I cant stand it. I'm a student studying to become a computer animator and like you guys, I wasnt sure if this movie was going to be that great... considering all these other CG movies that are for kids that sucks. But after doing some research and previewing some clips on IGN.com,... it just blew me away. Just because it being CG doesnt necessarily mean it's going to suck. It just means that there's no limit to what the animators and artists can do and that they can better achieve effects and tricks that live action couldn't do. I believe this is the "Batman Begins" of Ninja Turtles because someone finally gives some dignity back to the turtles. I say "GO SEE IT!" because you will love it!

The first 2 real life tmnt movies were awesome. In the first one they said damn alot. In the second one they fight a super shredder. but in the third one they made it soo gay. In the begining they start out dancing u like they first 2 where they fight right away. And in the third one they fight these two generic characters. I think This TMNT will suck becuz it's CGI.

OMG! I'm so pumped for this movie. I used to make fun of my uncle for liking TMNT when we were younger and now I'm in high school and have gotten messed with for looking forward to it. I guess we'll only know if it's worth it if we see it.

I am not sure. It looks a little more like a video game and little less like a movie. Splinter sounds a little weird. April is being voiced by Sarah Michelle Geller, which doesn't seem right. I even think I heard she fights. Some of the action figures have her with a weapon. I am going to watch it with some friends but I am a little worried that it is not going to be the turtles I grew up with.

Who knows. I hate that in the trailer they give it a serious "Spider-Man" feel, but the clips are funny, in an ambiguous way. It may be worth checking out but I hope that the fact that it's rated PG doesn't mean that it'll be something.... regarded as "kiddy".
- A TMNT fan.
