i can recommend one pet insurance companies to you pet plan there website is www.petplan.co.uk i have all three of my dogs insured through them they insure your dog against illness liability and on going vets treatment so if your dog broke his leg and needed years of care for problems that occur ed due to his broken leg they would keep paying out and don't have restrictions for the amount of years they pay out for you basically get on going treatment for the same condition year after year you would need to check out there website for the prices as it varies for the type of animal you have they insure hamsters up to horses and can pay the vet direct and the excess for any major treatment is 50 pounds insurance is always wise you never know what will happen with your pets and its a safety net that if your pet gets ill you know you will never have to decide whether to treat or not because of financial costs my animals are insured because i want the best for them and i would do anything for them i hope you find the right insurance company but look up pet plan i can recommend them as one of the best insurers in the UK good luck

Unnecessary waste of money. Even if you GET it, you'll still have to pay up-front when you take your pet to the vet. You have to submit claim forms to be reimbursed, and with the deductible, it ain't worth the trouble. It's a better idea to just set up a personal savings account and deposit small amounts into it to cover any future vet bills.
