They'll think you're wearing a bra, and they'll make up various reasons why you're doing it:
a. You're a cross dresser.
b. You're a creep
c. Your body type (fat?) is such that you need one
d. There is some complicated medical reason.
Most people will assume you're a cross dresser and therefore (by popular opinion, untrue by my experience) a creep.
The best approach I've seen to things like this is humor and self-confidence. If you wear it with the same confidence that you have when you wear shoes, that alone will make some people feel comfortable and OK about it. And if you have a few snappy comebacks, or proactive statements you make about it, that will also help socially.

First of all, Mike you didn't say why you wear a bra. What else are you comfortable with ? Do you wear nice silk pink panties ?
You asked what will people think ? My answer is that they would think the same thing that you would think if you noticed a guy wearing woman's underwear. Right, a homo.

If you are already worried about what people think then you are not ready to be different. It is about who you are and being true to yourself. I am a lesbian and I wear my jewelry, shirts and logo on my car; that's me and I am not worried about what others think. In the end the did not buy my car, jewelry, shirts, or bras. But be you and do what you do.

THE FACT THAT YOU ARE WEARING A BRA IS VERY DIFFERENT. IF YOU ARE AFRAID WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK THEN WHY BE DIFFERENT. WEAR THE BRA BECAUSE YOU LIKE IT AND YOU SHOULDNT CARE WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK. BUT IF SOMEONE NOTICES THEY WILL LOOK AT YOU FUNNY AND MAKE FUN OF YOU BUT THATS YOUR CHOICE. IF YOU REALLY LIKE WEARING BRAS THEN IT SHOULDNT MATTER.

all i can say is that u must be pretty brave, cause people out there are SO brutal! if anybody's different than them in the least they will tear them to shreds! sad but true, and i'm not trying to kid or make a joke, it goes back to the whole gay marriage argument, which is totally ridic! i'm not gay or a lesbian but i think people are awful to make life so hard for them.
ok i'm rambling. to answer your question: sadly, people will assume you're a cross dresser, which leads to gay, which leads to freak, creep, scary, you get my drift . . .
