Like if you had a sibling who didn't like you and his friend that you use to date?

if theyre nasty yes, but if it was ignoring no, as lifes too short to let others get to you, id try and rise above it, and show i didnt care, by getting on with my own life

No,could'nt give a stuff if people don't like me,and i suggest you do the same.
We are who we are and what we are,thats the way it is and always will be.
If people are small minded enough to judge us without knowing the real person then tuff.
I am a pleasant enough guy have a wife and 5 children but i know that for a long time people talked behind our backs.
This was'nt because we upset anybody but purely that we were at the time a younger family moving into the street.
The rest of the street is mostly people over 50 years old, now in there 60's.
For years they talked about us behind our backs,yet none took the time to know us.
Those that did became and still are good friends some of these have reached there 80's and still going strong.
I have found there will always be people that will critisize and ***** about you no matter how nice you are.
So just ignore the idiots that do,they're the losers in all this as there lives are so dull they need to critisise others.
Be yourself because thats who you are,trying to please others will not work anyway so don't bother.

Not one blessed cent does it matter if someone does not like me, because in the end it's their loss and not mine. Live your life and stop sweating the small stuff here. I have four siblings and as we were growing up, there were times we could hardly stand to be in the same room without an argument starting. Now I am happy to say that all four of us are very close and as far as the friend, don't worry about him either as you will meet many others that will enrich your life far more than a past and broken relationship.

You do not like everyone and it follows everyone will not like you......it is the way it is. But not healthy to let it bother you. In your case however it is hurtful as is a sibling and an ex......I would suggest they are being a bit childish and will get over it as they grow up a bit....as in mature. So for the meantime just be you and enjoy your life let them be them. Tell yourself they don't matter and I dont care.

It would have done when I was younger, but now I am a bit older and more comfortable in my own skin I don't really care who does or doesn't like me........ I now think that it is their problem.... Normally if someone really dislikes you it is due to some kind of jealousy. In fact now if I know someone really dislikes me, I get a bit of a kick out of it, knowing that I actually p*ss that person off so much without doing anything is great! Do you like who you are? If you do, then you have nothing to worry about.

it bothers me that my husbands sister who i was close with fell out with because i had briefly seperated from my husband and now ignores me and if she see's me i'm given the worst look ever.
my husbands family isn't big in get togethers so i have not been in a situtation were we have had to be at , but i'm dreading if there ever was a wedding or funeral etc as i don't know if i'd want to go or not.
I'm also angry as i think she is being very stupid yet can't tell her that seeing she isn't talking and my husband is quite happy with it and just ignores her too.

I haven't spoken to one of my sisters in 2 years. We only live a half mile away from each other. We have only spoken maybe 5 times in 5 years. And most of those times we faught. Does it bother me that she doesnt like me? Heck No! Cause I don't like her either. I find my life much easier with-out her in it.

If by certain people you mean your brother, I think he doesn't like you because you used to date his girlfriend, he is not mature enough to be happy by th fact that his girl picks him instead. He is a bit jealous of the intimacy you & she had once shared . It'll pass.

It might make me sad, but you have to realize that the only person you can control is YOU! You can't control other people and their feelings. Just be the best YOU you can be. :) Good luck! :)
