My DH can be really sweet.
The other day while in the mall, he wanted to buy me something, "just something" he said. I said "why? I don't need anything!"...he whispers in my ear..." because I love you, and look so pretty!" Talk about die...I said, OK, honey...what ever you want to buy me is fine with me...lol.
* sounds lame, but it's true, He bought me a ring.
( I have several from him)
....
He also helps clean around the house, sometimes makes the bed. When we are having company he helps me get the house ready. He also helps with meals, and get this.....GIVES ME THE REMOTE..!!! lol.
from 7:00 pm till 9:00 PM I get the remote, then I hand it back to him.
:)

I have lots of positive thing's in my relationsship also. My husband cooks dinner alot, cleans the house everyday, does laundry, changes diapers, baths the kids, fixes the cars, keeps up the yard, paints my toe nails, rub's my back, is a great lover, listens when i need someone to talk to, gets things for me, waits on me, pretty much everything. He is such a sweet heart.

That was very sweet of your husband. I'm glad you're having a good morning.

that's great. Good for you. My man is a sweetie too. He had dinner ready for me the other night when I got home from work. It was such a nice, warm feeling that he did that for me and I didn't have to cook. I get home at 6:15 and by the time I cook, clean up the kitchen, pack my gym bag for the next morning, do a load of laundry, it's time for bed.....I wish we had more time at nights.

why do people struggle? I don't struggle anymore, nothing done for my husband is good enough. Examples: Big snow storm in the east last night, I shovel around the cars he uses the snow blower on the rest, I did not put the snow where he thought I should. I didn't fight with him. I just put the shovel away and came back in. I don't help if he complains about how I do things, period. He's in a bad mood over nothing and I don't tolerate it.

Everyone likes to get "strokes", also men like doing things for their girls if they know in the end they will get sex! That's the male mind works....

I'm not sure. My husband and I are very happy and communicate well. Life is what you make it, so is marriage.
