Is there any other way to get the ps2 online other than installing a network card? My ps2 is an old one which doesn't have a network card included. I have a USB wireless adaptor, would connecting that work? Or maybe if I USB-to-USB connect it to my internet enabled laptop, would that work? Or is there any other way? Thanks.

I've only done it using the big clunky network adapter that attaches to the back. The good news is that you can buy them for cheap at used video game stores. I even got one on clearance a Wal-mart for 15 bucks. The bad news is that it's not wireless so you have to run an ethernet cable to the back. That was inconvenient for me with kids and dogs tripping on it. My solution was to buy a 60 gig ps3 since it has wi fi. Not everyone can afford to do that so, I guess it's one of the few perks we older gamers have. It also allows you to play ps2 games online. One obvious downside is getting fragged a lot by a smart @$# 18 year old. I hope it works out for you.
