Not if you are well enough to work. It depends what country you live in however if the issue is receiving a pension. My grandfather is almost 67 and he is still working.

Retirement is necessary from the current job as many parts of the world facing unemployment problem. a person must save money to live a comfortable life after retirement. Also to keep occupied can do some social/religious work which is more important now. In case there is a need for money must work. the financial status should be evaluated by competent authority prior declaration of retirement.

NO.why don't the politicians retire? I think at the age of 60 people work better than their younger counter parts. The young have so many other things to do than work. Rretirement
means telling the other person, 'your time is up , stay out of the mainstream.Time to say, bye, to this world. By retiring people, we are yielding wisdom, experience and patience to impetuousness.

Certainly, yes. Its a way of 'thanks giving' to your body which has
co-operated with you for many years in doing your job.Just think
of the climatic four seasons. A tree should whither off at the right
time so that new flowers can blossom.Follow the Mother Nature.
She never lets you down. Other views; Pave way for others who
are jobless, but equally qualified for that post.;One of the most
interesting part of the life starts then only. You can play, teach, and
feed your grand children which can be enjoyed only when experienced. With whatever money you can spare, do charity work
because there are many palms extended at you.All the best.

Given the longer lifespans of humans these days, 60 is only 2/3rds of the way through your life. So no, that isn't necessarily a good time to retire.

No.
But going to employment after 60 in public transport is not easy. 1 can work till death.
After 60, light work should be given to employee. Postman can be given job of letter sorter etc. Work is always necessary. Many retired want work, at any cost, without cost. They want to pay money to sit anywhere outside home.

I swore that I would work till I was 65. At age 61 I knew that it was time to retire. It is different for everyone, but your mind and body let you know when the time is ripe. This is an excellent reason that everyone should be saving money and making investments so that they can enjoy their retirement. I am having the time of my life!

Not; unless the person wants to retire......other wise it would be such a waste though...so much learned, so much experienced and practiced.....so much wisdom ( I hope), in the ways of the world and life it self.
All going waste on some Fla., old folks home.....

No.
But it is up to the individual.
Mostly based on financial and mental attitude.
Most people in future even if they want to retire they may not be able to due to financial reasons. That is life.
