it is a breaker reset. A breaker sorta like the switch in the breaker box but smaller. If it draws too much power the breaker will trip. Its just to save that really expensive machine

Incase the little motor draws too much current it will cut the power and to save the motor.

ring there helpline number which is on cleaner---100% at dealing with enquirys,as long as you didnt steal it as they have only been out two weeks!!!!!!!
