has good distortion? if not tell me how i can tell if a guitar has good distortion or the brand / title of a guitar with good distortion
i need it for playing metal.

When I think metal, I don't think Black Beauty. Nice Axe, just not what I would get for metal. Think ESP or Jackson. Again, Gibson's are great instruments, just not for metal.
