Sometimes when I download something, there is no exe or setup, only an INF file. how do I use that to setup? That can be done, right??

I right clicked, and selected Install, and it did nothing

Should be able to right click on it and see an install command on that menu

"Most of the sections in the .INF file are actually part of a well-defined hierarchy. This fact is obscured by the squashing of the hierarchy into a flat text file. "

Perhaps your software is already installed? I always save my downloads in the C: My Downloads file, pre-installation. Sometimes they need to be unzipped. There is a note at the microsoft site to always scan the inf file because it is most apt of all to have a virus, etc.
