Since when do division winners have everything to do with top home run hitters each season?
If Pujols won't have a DL stint like he did last year and he plays like he has been where he improves every year then he has a good chance to hit 60-70 home runs and even break the mark of 73. Howard might be able to repeat the numbers but I think he will be a target by pitchers that underestimated him and the Phillies last year.
The pace Pujols started the season with before going on the DL last year he would easily have hit around the same as Howard. I don't think Ortiz can match those numbers and for what it's worth, Lance Berkman will hit 40 at best.

Great question! If the Red Sox don't wear out down the stretch and Manny goes all season AND they manage to win the division; it would have to be Ortiz. That's alot of ifs.At the same time the Cards are not the same team. If the Cards win their division it would almost have to be Pujols. Then there are the outside shots such as Ryan Howard or Manny for that matter.Based on the present lineups, I would have to say if Drew performs Ortiz gets the unfair advantage and the clear nod for most dingers.

Why would it be Ortiz??? How about Travis Hafner who has as much raw power as any player in the A.L. not to mention he can hit more then just HR (Ortiz) --Hafner hits 42 hr last year and misses 5 weeks of the season. Surround Hafner with that lineup this year--50-55 is not unreasonable. This guy is one of the top 5 hitters in MLB
