Hello all. This is my first time on here and need some advice about my Exhaust. I do not know much about my bike but it is getting noisier. i got my lass to rev it and i looked at the exhaust and found thay where they join, it has come away a little.

I believe its downpipes and then twin cans on back and they just clamp or slide in together. it is in the middle where they join. the back boxes are mint condition and so are the downpipes but where they join it looks ok, but as i said they have come apart.

Can this be welded or do i need new parts?

aprox £150 for down pipes and £200 for twin cans.

Can i just fill the hole???

I do have guarentee with it even though it is an R reg and the only thing on my contract which is not guarenteed are alarms. no mention of exhausts.

Cheers people's

A quick, cheap, back-yard mechanic fix. Purchase some "muffler tape" at an auto parts store. When the tape heats up, it melts and conforms to any holes, then when cooled down, it dries hard as a rock.

You can get it welded, but When I got my bike exhaust done it was blowing again in less than a month.
Poss just bad work done on mine, but it's only time i've had one welded.
If your warranty doesn't exclude your exhaust, try them first.
