Gulf Shores Alabama is on the eastern side of Mobile Bay on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico. The area starts where the main highway reaches the water and continues on for many miles until the border of Florida. A bar right on the state lines is called the Flori-Bama Bar. This areas beaches are among the most beautiful anywhere. The sand is white as sugar and the blue and green waters have given the area it's name The Emerald Coast. Miles of beaches and sand dunes continue from Gulf shores to Navarre and beyond. If you haven't been you won't be disappointed.
