I'm in second year at high school in scotland and we have to choose our options. I would really like to become a fashion buyer or do fashion related work but i would also like to be a primary teacher. I was wondering if it would be good to take 2 sciences. If so what ones? If you also know could you tell me what other subjects would be useful to help me achieve my dream job. Thanks

For a fashion buyer some form of business studies is always a good idea, they like that (wish I had done it now but it's too late for me!)

They have profiles of what they like buyers to have on the topshop website.

I'm not so good with science so can't really comment but if it was me I would do one and I would do Chemistry (but it's a personal thing - you are the one who is going to have to do all the work - follow your heart and do what you know you can bear, something that willl make you unhappy is not worth it for any job)

Good luck!

Nobody can tell you what subjects to take because that depends on the subjects you've enjoyed, and what you're good at so far.
But here's some advice, if you are good at Maths Physics is a great science to take because you won't need to work to hard for the Problem Solving and you can enjoy the rest of the subject and the experiments, I'm just away do to the final exam for SG Physic in a month and i really enjoyed it ( paper aeroplane races are actually valid experiments in this subject ), but it's supposed to be one of the hardest.
Biology is supposed to be one of the easiest, If you enjoy learning about about plants and animals and things, and if you're not too squeamish you will probably enjoy it.
Chemistry is supposed to also be quite hard and to be good at this subject you would probably have to be good at learning facts so you understand about the different chemicals .
Art & D. and/or either Accounting or Buisness Management ( if your school provides these cources ) are probably good subjects for a Fashion Buyer .

I would only take one...and maybe take a sociology class, too.

Take Biology if you haven't already. Or Earth Science. Those are really interesting and aren't as intensive as Chemistry.

Take as many classes as you can. The better your education the more options you will have in life. Best of luck
