there are two types of politicians.. the ones who are openly corrupt, and the ones who are secretly corrupt.. most politicians in the US are secretly corrupt.. they all take bribes, but they pretend they aren't bribes by calling them campaign contributions or something.. they are all driven by money.. I'm sure british politicians are just as corrupt as US politicians..

I think we are in great danger in this country of losing what little freedom we have left. Due to the self seeking corruption of politicians of all persuasions we are in a position where it is becoming more and more difficult see any difference between them. I think the influence of that criminal Blair and his obsession with spin has damaged this country possibly beyond repair. I fear for the future and wonder if the great British public will ever decide to wake up and give the b**tards the comeuppance they deserve.

I think over the past few years the rot of corruption has set in in the British Parliament. It's only the fear of being found out that keeps some from really 'going to town'. Anything these people can get away with they will. Look at the fiction of their expenses which they are allowed to claim on 'trust'. Worst of all they have the impertinence to call themselves 'Honourable'.

Politics are corrupt by definition. To get something you want you need to compromise your position on something else. The "political elite" must learn that democracy belongs to the people not the party and that they are there to represent their constituents. When they ask for the tax payer to sponsor their activities they are totally corrupt.Starts at £25,000,000 where next. Lets please get more independent MPs into Parliament to stop this incompetent system falling into total disrepute

Well if they are anything like the politicians in the US, they are damn corrupt. I wouldn't give you a wooden nickle for a single one of them.
