I have been a nurse in a childrens hospital for the past 3 years. I am starting to get my MBA this spring and will be done by Aug 2008. Any ideas on where I should look for jobs? I have heard about a ton of opportunities but I have not seen job postings ect. Just worried I am doing all this work for nothing.

Because I am tired of nights/ weekends/ holidays and have always had an interest in business. FYI it is not " a few" classes to be a nurse practitioner- its a couple years of work and clinicals. Answer questions you actually know something about!

I am the Branch Director for a Home Health/Staffing company. We employ RN's as Clinical Directors. They are responsible for overseeing the clinical aspect of the Home Care as well as contributing to the Operational/Business side of the the branch.
This may be an avenue you might want to consider as it will encompass both your love of nursing along with your knowledge/skills in business.
You would also be well suited to be a Branch Director. We currently have BD openings in St. Petersburg & Miami.
The jobs are out there... don't get discouraged!!!

Just a little thought for you to consider. Why not expand and go for nurse practitioner. The pay and opportunities are greater and you only need acouple extra classes to do it. Pay is about 20-25% greater.

You could search and apply for jobs on job websites like Hotjobs,Monster, Careerbuilder and Craigslist. You could also search for jobs on websites like Simply Hired and Indeed. More information at http://www.pcworkathome.net/jobwebsites.html
