this, but I'm assuming that you are a thin person
and would like to be a little bit larger. When
I was a teenager I always wanted to be bigger
so I could play football. Nobody in my family
were large people. Your genes generally
determine if you are gonna be tall, fat, thin,
or just average. So don't go start eating a
lot of unhealthy foods just to gain weight.

Well the easiest way to gain weight in my opinion is to mess with your metabolism. You can try eating late at night and you dont have to eat a whole meal but try something fatty like ice cream or Krispy Kreme donuts. Stretching your stomach also helps and you can do this by progressively eating more and more foods along with a soda or seltzer water at every meal. Also those wieght gainers at GNC did a wonder for my very own brother who went from being a stick at 25 to a Spartan at 27. He gained tons of weight in 2 seasons with the help of wieght gainer shakes and eating protein every chance he could. And of course there is a fatty food lurking behind every corner so gaining weight shouldnt be too hard. Here is my mental breakdown of some fresher foods to help put on some pounds.
-Whole Milk, any kind of cheese including creme cheese, sour cream, ice cream, egg yolks, peanut butter, avacado, mango, red meat, lots of carbs (rice,spaghetti,bread).

It depends why you are trying to gain weight. Whatever the reason you should consult your doctor first. However, eating calorie rich foods and fat isn't any good for you, you'll just get flabby. You should consider dietary supplements and a good protein intake. But please see your doctor about it before starting any kind of diet.

I would imagine that you would need less exercise, eating lots of rich food (not necessarily more food than you eat now, just different kinds). Also, drink lots of juice.
