What part of the country do you reside in? In the Midwest Robins arrive in the Spring of the year. Have never seen or heard of them referred to as a Xmas bird.

I am from Maine, and I have never heard of robins being "X-mas" birds. I know that when i see a Robin for the first time, it is a sign of spring. So, it would lead me to believe, that March, is a great time for robins to reproduce.

It depends on where you live. Here in North Carolina it is normal for them to come in around March. They are considered Spring time birds anyway according to the web sites I visited. Go to http://www.wild-bird-watching.com/Robins.html and you may find your answer there. The reason I say it depends on where you live is because there could be some kind of global warming factor in relation to your location.
