KALI (Demon) is the reigning lord of KALI YUGA and nemesis of Sri Kalki, the 10th and final avatar of Lord Vishnu. According to the Vishnu Purana, he is a negative manifestation of Vishnu who, along with his extended evil family, perpetually operates as a cause of the destruction of this world. He is the major antagonist in the Kalki Purana.

Towards the end of this yuga, Kalki will come riding on a white horse to battle Kali and his dark forces. The world would suffer a fiery end where all evil will perish.

AND IN TURN WILL START A NE AGE THE AGE OF SATYA YUGA.

Other interpretations of Kali Yuga and the Yuga cycle
Other interpretations of the Hindu scriptures, most notably by David Frawley and Sri Yukteswar Giri, hold a different view of the Yuga cycle. Based on historical and scriptural evidence, they state that the Yugas change in a cycle much like the four seasons, where the planet moves repeatedly and gradually from one Yuga to the next, without a sudden jump from Kali into Satya Yuga. Further, they both state that historical evidence shows that Kali Yuga ended around 1700 CE, changing at that time to Dwapara Yuga.

Also supporting their view is the fact that humans are becoming taller in height, more intelligent, and are living longer. This, according to Sri Yukteswar, is contrary to some of the only objective criteria for defining Kali Yuga...

It is the Krutha Yug or the Satya Yug. This is specified in the Bagavath purana. there is a detailed explaination about time in this books begginning. It also discusses the evolution of universe which closely resembles the Big Bang Theory.

The time is discussed in big numbers of time. A total of 4 yugas is known as a Kalpa. There would be around 150 Kalpas and that is the age of Brahma. It is supposed that we live in the the 28th Kalpa and it is in the same kalpa that Lord Krishna lived.

According to the above, after this Kali yuga is over there would be the Krutha yuga of the 29th Kalpa.

After kalyug , the whole world will come to an end.It is back to square one.The world will come full circle. As in the Bible and Hindu religion ( I don't know about other religions). The whole world will be wiped out by tsunamis. and incessasant rains.Nothing will be left. In both religions it is said, that a boat saves samples of living creatures. In the Bible it is Noha's Arc. And of Hindus the sapt rishis were saved . The other survivors were Manu the man, and shradha , the woman. So once again it will be beginning of life.

The yuga cycles are supposed to repeat, and therefore, the yuga after Kalyug will be the Satya Yuga (or the Krita Yuga).

The four yugas appear in following order:
Satyuga
Treta
Dwapar
Kaliyuga

These four yugas take place during a day of Brahma. After the day of Brahma, there is night of Brahma when no activity takes place. After 100 Brahma years, that specific Brahma pacifies.

The world never ended on June 6, 2006. The world never ended at the beginning of 2000. Most likely it won't end on December 21, 2012. I think it all a load of bull.
