For some reason I just can't get it out of my head that I'll only go into labor at night. I know it's not true it just seems like everyone goes into labor at night. So I guess I'm wondering if there are any odds or anything (like 60% of women go into labor at night, 40% during the day), or how many of you have gone into labor during the day????

I started timing my contractions at 11am....Went to the doctor at 2pm and she said I was in labor. I was in the hospital at 3:30 and had my son at 10:00pm. With my second...I started having contractions in the morning and did not pay much attention to them because they were very mild. I then went into the hospital at 4:30pm still not sure if I was in labor or not and at 8:30 my son was born. I am now pregnant with my 3rd....Who knows what time it will be...There is an excitement about not knowing. I think going into labor is such a cool thing even though it may hurt like hell. I love the surprise. Oh and my first was born on his due date, and my 2nd was born 10days early.

I DID!

I went into labor at 7 am :))

I felt something at night that wasn't really strong, but I just knew the real thing was coming soon. They did end up going away. I got a good amount of sleep, and the next morning it was contractions every 7 minutes!

My son was born the next morning.

With my first, I went into labor at 3pm and delivered at 2:09am. With my second, I went into labor at 2pm and delivered at 5:46pm. I loved the second birth no only because it was fast, but because I had the rest of the night to be awake and enjoy my baby.

My mom was induced in the day(which did not work), and she actually went into labour on her own at 1:00 AM the same day, I was born at 2:56 AM that night. (Not all labours, at least 1st ones, are this quick)
