Kozig is a famous German player. (he is a goalie) hockey isnt that hard. The rink in North America is about 200 ft by 85 ft (international play is 200ft by 98 1/2 ft) It has face off zone in center ice , neutral zone , goaline , goal crease , benches and penalty boxes. To win , you must put the puck in to the net more than opponent does. At game is usually 3 periods at 20 minutes each , if tie is a 5 min overtime and if still tie , shootout (3 shooters each team , if still tie , keep going until one round where one team score while the other didnt.)
In regulation , is 5 on 5 and in Overtime is 4 on 4. There are rules too. For penalties check one of the links. Skaters wear alot of equipments and so is goalie

If you want to show them a real TEAM at work offensively and defensively look at DETROIT'S RED WINGS.They have a great Defense and great Goal Tending a power full Offense and the Teamwork and Coaching are impeccable. All in all a Team at the top of the game year in year out.Not many teams can say that.
