I listen to quite a bit of Celtic music, traditional Irish and Scottish songs, Sea shantys, a Lot of Richard Wagner (esp. Siegfried's Funeral March and Ride of the Valkyries), folk and filk music (filking is usually where you take a known song or tune and set new words to it for a completely different topic, but now also includes songs derived from books and stories, usually of the sci-fi/fantasy genre). I also listen to classic heavy metal, classic rock, and contemporary Irish bands such as the Cranberries, Clannad, Enya, etc.
