i got a psp mic and its plugged into the remote thing and thats of coruse plugged into the psp but it dontwork

When i go onto a game such as Socom FTB2 i can hear people talk but it dont let me talk when i press (L) in game lobby or (O) in game play. I herd somewere you neeed to enable some ports. what would the ports be and how do i enable them with my Belkin ROuter?
