Ok, now I have my idea. PLEASE DO NOT READ IF U HAVEN'T SEEN THE END OF SERIES 2!

I think that the electromagnetic force is drawing desmond boat to the island. Remember when Locke failed to enter the numbers halfway through season 2? Well that could have let out a bit of the magnetism and drawn Desmond back hmmmm. And wot the heck do u think the Dharma intitive is, it gives me nightmares honestly, I woke up realli scared after one episode!!!!!!!!

that show is so confusing! it gives more questions than answers! i gave up trying to figure it out ages ago... i think its one of those tv series that only makes sense on the last episode! i think the dharma intitive thing is a place where doctors etc do illegal experiments on humans to figure out cures etc... thats why they have to do it on a deserted island... i don't know... just a guess!
