I really am attracted to this man ... he is kind, gentle, very smart. I think there is a chance we could at least be friends. I decided to send him a rose to let him know I'd like to date him. What should I write on the card that goes with it? Don't want to be so subtle he doesn't get the message, nor too pushy either.

Just curious, how old are you? I am sure you are very mature because it is obvious that you are attracted to mature MAN and not some childish jerks. I am impressed.
Now, I think you should be sincere and true to yourself. Just tell him what you have been wanting to tell him. Follow your heart and brain and they will lead you in your pursuit of happiness.

This the 21st century I see nothing wrong with sending a flower to a man
so take pen in hand and let your words and feelings flow and be sincere and respectful and you will be surprised how well it will be received
