I felt the same way when i first started taken birth control i thought "there is no possible way that i could have unprotective sex and not get pregnant" of course technicaly we should wear a condum anyways but you all know that we dont cos its just not comfortable.. BUT after a week your birthcontrol should have setteld int your system also there are only certian times while your not on your period that you can get pregnant regardless of any methods. its call your period of ovulation and usualy happens mid way into your cycle which means that probably about the middle of next week youll be ovulating. your pills stop the egg from being fertile. because this is your first week of useing any kind of contraseptive you shoulndt be to worried that your period may not come it may be the way your body is reacting to the new hormones being in your body. dont get to stressed out about i though you sound like a smart cookie who knows her stuff. I tend to mess up my pills constantly and im still not pregnant lol xoxo good luck

Highly doubtful you are going to get pregnant after being on the pill for a month and then having sex. The pill takes effect after one month of use. I was taking the pill since I was a teenager. All my Dr's and the pamphlets I have read all said the same thing, 1 month of continual pill taking and the pill takes effect.

But there is no way to absolutely prevent pregnancy other then abstinence.

If you've taken your pills every day and not missed, you should be fine. Read the package inserts as well--this will give you all the information you need to know.

One thing to remember, is that medicines like anti-biotics will reduce the effectiveness of the pill, so if you ever have to take these, use another form of protection.

The pill actually covers you for protection after only one week. Not much contradicts BP's. ANtibiotics can lesson their effectiveness though. I don't understand what Yasmin is.
Can't help you there.

You shouldn't be pregnant. You've been taking the pill for over a month.

didn't your doctor tell you not to have unprotected sex for a few months. those bc pills DON"T work immediately. it takes time for your body to adjust to them. go take a test to see if you are pg.

Invite me to your baby shower. What are you intending on calling it? How about Ohshit if it's a boy and Accidenta if it's a girl?

The birth control should be in effect now, so you should be ok.

pills are 98-99% safe. if you are really scared, usse a condom as well. i think you are fine, but it's better to be too safe, then worried.

Your chance of being pregnant is very small. You don't need to worry about it
