YES!!! It was amazing, however it was not the best goal of his career... and that is sad when you can actually say that about a 19 year old kid!! I love what Erik Christensen said about it... The Pittsburgh Post Gazette reported that he said, "I wouldn't be surprised if he walks on water one of these days! An amazing goal... it was ridiculous to watch!" Isn't that so true!

That goal was better than last year's Ovechkin goal that got immortalized.
1) Okechkin beat 1 guy. Crosby beat 4. FOUR!! And he let two guys on my fantasy hockey team (Whitney and Recchi) get assists and a +1 for watching him pull that magic.
2) Ovechkin's goal happened in the third period of a 5-1 blowout. Crosby's goal was the first goal of an eventual 6-3 Penguin victory, so it was far more meaningful.
3) Ovechkin scored against the Coyotes, Crosby scored against the Habs. Scoring on the Habs, as a general rule, is more impressive.
Ovechkin's goal was incredible, and to his credit he did it from his back. But I think Crosby did him one better.

Anyone who watched a highlight reel should have seen that. Maybe we won't hear so much about that Ovenchick goal now, this was a truly amazing goal. Didn't get to see it as it happened, but was watching the after game and got to see it. That wasn't luck, that was SKILL, with some luck thrown in. Almost all goals have a little luck thrown in though.

Yeah i saw the goal it was amazing but if it was the old NHL he Suray would have flattened him in the old nhl before he got around the first guy

I did see that goal and though it wasn't quite as good as Ovechkin's AMAZING goal last year, it was still a very difficult shot.

he has gotten ALOT better when it comes to complaining to the Refs.. he is still learning, alot of people forget this is only his 2nd year in the leauge.
