" I will remember 9/11 as a good day, cause I quit smoking that day."

Profound because I quit something on that day too! It was a day of awakening!
I am SURE that it will cause a better nonsmoking section for me up top, so I am "nonsmoking" since that day, in a sence too...
XOXO
Thanks!
:^)
Praise the Lord, thank you Jesus...

Abenezer,
What is your problem?
I care about how you feel about me...
You dislike me so much?
I am so opinionated?
I just want what is best for you.
How am I wrong?
I can take some constructive critisism...
Easy now.
:^)
Have a nice weekend!

Well...I hope to spend my Eternity in Heaven with my Father! As to Smoking or NonSmoking that's another issue all together.
Now, I understand and agree somewhat on the issues of the nonsmokers and why the Federal and the State Governments are trying to delete "smoking" altogether BUT and I say this word very boldly! Because the government is also infringing the "rights" of those who want to continue to smoke. Now if I read correctly, you were a smoker at one time, did you not? Ok...was it easy for you to stop or rather hard to accomplish? For some, it's real easy to quit because they want to quit or because they haven't been a "smoker" for some years or they have the "will power". Then there are those who are the opposite, to where they tried every solution they could whether it was the patches, medication, cold turkey, or other ways to stop the habit but couldn't. Or they enjoy the aroma of a good smoke so do speak. The government wants to put a halt to all smokers which I hate to say but doesn't that effect the "people's rights" of the Constitution? I know it's ironically speaking but what happened to the peoples rights if the Government is going to take them away so do speak? Now I can see if the Government wants to stop smoking in the hospitals, airflights, restaurants and malls etc... but what about the business's that are going to be hurt such as the bars and some other business's that people do sit and smoke and chat? Now some States are trying to push a law stating the smokers can't smoke in their own cars with a child under the age of 18 and to go beyond that, some jurisdictions are saying you can't smoke in your own yard, now this is getting utterly ridiculous. This is "taking away the rights" of others. The Government can't just abolish smoking all together or "shut down" the tobacco industry so what they do is either place higher taxes on the tobacco products so you pay a higher price and make the tobacco stores and industry just go "out of business". Now what this will lead to will be an open market for the "black market" to become established in the tobacco industry which will be a nuisance and probably more crimes. What gets me is that if the Government wants to delete the tobacco because it's harmful due to "second hand smoke" then they need to delete the 'alcohol" as well. You don't see a smokeaholic driver kill another in a car accident it's an alcohol substance abuser "a drunk driver" that causes these accidents not a smoker. So this is my opinion. If you are going to delete one, then you need to delete the other as well.Have a Blessed day!

What the heck are you talking about? Are there smoking sections in the afterlife? And for that matter, places to buy smokes? What about food, I like to have a smoke after dinner, could I still do that?

I'm sorry, but this question makes no sense. If you are referring to heaven or hell, it would be neither-because neither exist. Heaven and Hell are both actually on Earth, right here and right now.

How can you praise Jesus and consider 9/11 a good day. Even atheists recognize the tragedy of 9/11. Get with it people.

I smoke, and as for eternity, if it exists, I would hope that we meet up with all the people of our past (the good and the bad) seeing as life consisted of both, and that it is a really nice place to be.

I wonder if my lungs would travel with me to eternity ?
If no, then this question has no relevance.
If yes, there are two options again:
If in hell I would not have to smoke as burning fire beneath would call a breath of fresh air a luxury.
If in heaven, I would think twice of wasting my time & energy sucking on a piece of cotton loaded behind bits of tobacco rolled in paper!!!!!!!!!!!

Where you spend eternity is not based on smoking but if you decided to make Christ the head of your life.
