I don't know about the chocolate, but I remember being told that an overheated body is not good while the baby is developing and especially under 3 months. But that was a long time ago and times and ideas change.

Actually it's good for you to eat Chocolate when your pregnant because there are studies out that can prove that if you eat chocolate when your pregnant that it causes your baby to ba a very happy baby. I tried it with my son and he is 2 now and he is the best little kid always so happy and just so cute. Im pregnant again and Im doing the same with her. it doesn't hurt to try. Exercise I know that your suppose to do that too. But I don't really do it as much as I should. lol
They say that like a 1/2 an hour a day of walking is best. But no running and no jogging. Im sure your fine. Ask your doc she knows best. But really try the chocolate things.
Good Luck!

With the chocolate I think its within moderation as part of healthy diet just the same as when youre not pregnant so if you normaly eat loads then carry on! With the exercise thing, I was told that if you normally do exercise when youre not pregnant then its okay to still do it when you are pregnant but just not as much or as strenuous. But I wouldnt do any, im going to start going to aquanatal and other exercise classes for pregnant women when I hit 12 weeks and everything is okay, just to be on the safe side!
Good luck in whatever you choose to do!

Well, they say your not supposed to eat or drink caffeine during pregnancy because its not good for the baby. Unfortunately.... chocolate is caffeine :(
So don't eat it everyday, just once in a while.
Also... your not supposed to really do anything that is at risk to the baby your first 3 months, because statistics say 75% of all women that get pregnant, have a miscarriage in the first 3 months of pregnancy. So relax and don't do too much physical activity, but after those 3 moths, knock yourself out exercise all you want
GOOD LUCK!!!!

I also am pregnant! Definately wait till you are past 12 weeks! Your first trimester is when you are at risk for miscarriage! My Dr. told me to walk ! And I think chocolate is ok in moderation! I crave it also!!! Try buying like a hershey bar that you can break in pieces so you can have a lil each time you crave it!! It wont hurt you but it can make you put on weight!! Good luck!!!

Chocolate has been my best friend throughout this pregnancy, as much as it is to my own chagrin to admit it. lol
My doc says that it's fine, but it should really only be taken in moderation. It's not going to hurt you, but it will probably make you gain quite a bit of weight. None of us want that to look forward to after our babies are born!
I have been walking about thirty minutes a day. My doc said that the weight lifting was fine in the first and second trimesters, but in the third, I really needed to take it easy. He said that lifting can cause problems in late pregnancy.
If your doc told you to exercise as normal, do it. It will make labor and delivery a lot easier for you.

Most doctors say if you have been exercising all along, you can continue to. Mine suggested a modified version of my exercise plan til I was further along. As far as the chocolate, I asked my OBGYN's and my family doctor about this when I was pregnant with my first. They told me, don't eat enough to make yourself sick, but you can enjoy chocolate while pregnant. My son was born just before Halloween when the stores are FILLED with chocolate. I ate alot of chocolate..lol. I'm mom to3.

I think that you should eat what you want when you want. It makes for a happier pregnancy and a happy mum means a happy baby. I ate loads when I was pregnant but kept working and excercising in the normal way and lost most of it after I gave birth (breast feeding helped to shed the pounds as it uses up lots of calories)

i have no idea how much but i think a quater a bar per day would not be that bad. About going on with exercising is not a very good idea coz your body uses alot of energy in the first weeks to make your baby stonger, so its wise to have alot of rest and avoid strenious jobs. my doctor adviced me to get plenty of rest and go for 20 mins walks for exercise.
